Choose the Right UHPLC Column

Reversed-phase C18, C8, C4, C30, Phenyl, PFP, and Biphenyl chemistries are appropriate starting points for many non-polar to moderately polar compounds. HILIC, HILIC-Amide, Silica, NH2, and related polar phases should be considered when the analytes are highly hydrophilic or require normal-phase/HILIC retention behavior.
Next, select a chemistry that provides the desired selectivity.
