Syringe Filter
Syringe Filters
ANPEL & CNW syringe filters are designed for fast, reliable clarification of liquid samples prior to chromatographic analysis, including HPLC, UHPLC, LC/MS, GC, ICP-MS, and capillary electrophoresis. Each filter features a Luer-lock inlet and a standard outlet, compatible with syringes up to 10 mL for optimal pressure performance.
Available in 13 mm and 25 mm diameters with pore sizes of 0.22 µm and 0.45 µm, our syringe filters cover a comprehensive range of membrane materials to suit both aqueous and organic sample matrices:
- PES (Polyethersulfone) — Hydrophilic membrane with high flow rate, high throughput, and low protein binding. Ideal for aqueous solutions; pH range 3–12.
- Nylon — Excellent chemical stability and flexibility; compatible with water and most organic solvents. Withstands 121 °C autoclave sterilization; pH range 3–14.
- Hydrophilic PTFE — Broadest chemical resistance of all membrane types. Suitable for strong acids, strong bases, and mixed aqueous-organic solutions; pH range 1–14.
- Hydrophobic PTFE — Widest solvent compatibility; excellent particle retention. Suitable for both liquid and gas filtration; pH range 1–14.
- Hydrophilic PVDF — Low protein adsorption with good thermal and chemical stability. Recommended for dilute protein solutions; pH range 2–13.
- Hydrophobic PVDF — High mechanical strength and tensile strength; suitable for gas, vapor, and high-temperature liquid filtration; pH range 2–13.
Pore size selection guide: Use 0.22 µm filters for HPLC columns packed with particles ≤ 3 µm; use 0.45 µm filters for columns with particles > 3 µm.
All ANPEL & CNW syringe filters are single-use disposable products, ensuring consistent performance and eliminating cross-contamination between samples.
